This section of the site offers a unique opportunity to view damselflies and dragonflies in action.  The film footage has been configured for faster connections and ideally, so as not to tax your patience, it is better viewed over a broadband connection. These are now common place in schools, colleges and public libraries.

Technical requirements/information:

• You will require Quicktime V6 to view the filmstock.  Go here to download the free viewer
• The footage is 320x240 pixels
• They vary from 1.5Mb to 6Mb 
• The length of the footage varies from 10 to 30 seconds
• The footage is not streamed.  This means the whole piece will download before playing.

This footage has been provided free of charge by Peter White who owns the copyright to all the material. It may be used for educational purposes only. It must not be used for any other purpose without the express written consent of Derbyshire Dragonflies.

We are receptive to your requests and needs so please send us your feedback.  If you feel it would be more appropriate to load the video on to DVD please let us know.  If we get sufficient support we may take this forward as a new project.
